🌌 When The Heavens and Hearts Align: A Cosmic Turning of the New Moon Eclipse & Equinox, Awakening the Heart and the Call to Christ-Consciousness

🌌 A Time of Heavy Energy and Hope

As I sit down to write this, I feel the weight of the world. The news is heavy. Our nation feels divided. Even our families and friendships have been tested. Today, in the U.S., football fills the airwaves, while elsewhere, Charlie Kirk is honored today, his message reflected faith, though it was heard by many through political divisions—reminding us of the times we live in.

It feels like no one can simply agree anymore. We live in a time where voices are loud, but harmony is quiet. Where opinions collide, but hearts often remain closed. And yet, this weekend brings us a rare opportunity: a cosmic reset.

The New Moon Solar Eclipse today, September 21, and the Fall Equinox tomorrow, September 22, both asking us to let go of what was and step into something greater—not only as individuals but as a collective. They remind us that division doesn’t have to be the final word. Renewal is possible. Balance IS possible.

As I went through this last week, as we all did, and am watching today’s memorial services I have felt something quietly yet enormous shift inside me — not because of any single speech, but because grief, faith, memory, and hope were all meeting at once under this same sky that brings us the New Moon and Eclipse. Spirituality, to me, has always been about relationship: a lived, breathing connection with God / Source / Creator / the Universe — whatever name fits your heart. I grew up attending church with my Grandmother; although it’s been about nine years since I walked those pews regularly. Yet the absence of a building never ended my practice or relationship. My faith continued as a thread — through intuition, small prayers, the work in Rabbit Hole Collections, and the everyday choices to choose love over fear.

This last week and now weekend feels like a collective "Turning Point" — a season when people return (in their own ways) to what truly matters. Love. Whether you return to a church, kneel in your kitchen, or whisper to the trees, the invitation is the same: deepen your relationship with the Divine, live from that inner knowing of peace, of discernment of right and wrong, and letting that courage move you toward compassion, love, and giving rather than division.

This is why the New Moon, Eclipse and Equinox matter not only astrologically, but spiritually — they offer us a sacred moment to orient our lives back to that loving Source.

✝️ Christ Consciousness & Awakening

In recent days, we’ve witnessed something remarkable: record church attendance across the country and record numbers of Bibles being sold. This isn’t just a trend—it reflects a deeper hunger for meaning, truth, and hope.

Some call this awakening Christ Consciousness:

  • A state of living in alignment with divine love, compassion, forgiveness, and unity.

  • Not confined to one religion or belief system, but rather the essence of what Christ taught—to love one another, to rise above division, and to walk in light.

  • It means to ascend beyond fear and ego into courage, clarity, and truth.

🌌 Astrology & The Bible: Not Opposites

For centuries, astrology and faith have been separated, even opposed. Yet historically, they were intertwined. The Magi followed the stars to find the Christ child. Biblical texts reference the heavens as signs of divine timing.

What if astrology isn’t meant to replace faith, but to complement it? To remind us that the heavens reflect the divine order of creation, and that both the stars and scripture can guide us back to truth?

📢 A Call to Personal Awakening

This weekend’s New Moon Eclipse and Equinox echo this awakening:

  • The New Moon invites us to release what no longer serves and to plant fresh intentions for the path ahead.

  • The Eclipse reminds us that even in temporary darkness, the light always returns.

  • The Equinox shows us that balance—between light and dark, body and spirit, faith and reason—is possible.

And so we ask:

  • How can we each step into Christ-like love?

  • How can we move forward with courage and faith, even when the world feels divided?

  • How can we listen to our inner knowing of right and wrong rather than the noise of division around us?

Charlie Kirk’s message, though received with both reverence and debate, carried a thread of this same courage—to speak boldly in faith. That reminder is for all of us: to stand in our truth, to love even when it’s hard, and to live as though unity is possible.

❤️ Moving Beyond Hate

Hate divides. Fear blinds. But love restores. Christ Consciousness calls us not to perfection, but to presence—to treat one another as sacred reflections of the divine. To stop seeing only differences and start remembering our shared humanity.

This is the invitation of this cosmic alignment: to rise together.

🔭 The Astrological Significance

  • New Moon in Virgo + Solar Eclipse (Sunday, Sept 21)

    • A Solar Eclipse magnifies a New Moon, turning it into a portal for new timelines.

    • Virgo energy brings themes of healing, cleansing, daily rituals, and devotion to what matters most.

    • Eclipses have long been seen as omens of transformation—temporary darkness that births new light.

  • Fall Equinox in Libra (Monday Sept 22)

    • The Equinox marks balance: day and night are equals. A universal reminder of harmony between opposing forces.

    • Libra highlights relationships, fairness, and justice. It calls us to restore balance not only in ourselves but in how we show up in our community.

Together, this energy asks:

Where do we need to realign?

What are we ready to begin again?

How can we create balance even in a divided world?

📜 A Bit of History

  • Eclipses in Ancient Times: The Babylonians were some of the first to predict eclipses. To them, eclipses marked endings and warnings but also times of prophecy.

  • Equinox Traditions: Ancient cultures celebrated this time with harvest festivals—feasting, gratitude, and rituals to honor balance and prepare for the darker months ahead. The Druids called it Mabon, a time of thanksgiving and reflection.

  • Personal Resonance: For me, this feels like a harvest of lessons. A season of clearing out old pain, mold (literally in my case), and patterns that no longer serve—and inviting in fresh air, fresh purpose, and fresh beginnings with gratitude for a new season.

✨ Tasks & Actions for All Signs

🌱 Cleanse:

  • Dust, sweep, or rearrange your space. Physical cleansing supports energetic cleansing.

  • Burn sage, palo santo, or incense to clear stagnant energy.

🕯️ Set Intentions:

  • Write 1–3 clear intentions for what you want to begin in this new cycle. Keep them somewhere visible.

  • Light a white or green candle and hold your intentions close as you watch the flame.

⚖️ Balance Practices:

  • Create a “balance list”: write down one area where you’ve given too much, and one where you’ve neglected yourself. Decide one small step for each.

  • Take a walk in nature and notice the changes—fall colors, shifting air, and the balance of light/dark.

💎 Crystals for This Portal of Time

  • Labradorite – Transformation & protection during change.

  • Moonstone – New beginnings & lunar alignment.

  • Clear Quartz – Amplifies clarity and intentions.

  • Citrine – Abundance and positivity.

  • Black Tourmaline – Grounding and energetic protection.

💡 Tip: Place these on your desk, sacred space, or windowsill during the Eclipse and Equinox to soak up balanced energy.

💎 Crystals, the Bible & How to Begin

For those who are new to crystals, or those in practices that are resistant to crystal work, it may surprise you to learn that the Bible itself is filled with their presence. In Revelation 21, the New Jerusalem is described with walls adorned in jasper, sapphire, emerald, amethyst, and more—twelve precious stones representing divine beauty and heavenly order. The breastplate of the High Priest in Exodus was also set with twelve stones, each symbolizing a tribe of Israel. These passages remind us that crystals and stones are not foreign to faith, but part of God’s creation and woven into sacred history.

If you’re just beginning with crystals, start simple:

  • Choose one that draws you in. Don’t overthink—your spirit will often guide you.

  • Hold it in your hand while praying, meditating, or journaling. Notice how it feels—heavy, warm, calming, energizing.

  • Keep it close (in your pocket, by your bedside, on your desk) as a tangible reminder of your intention or prayer.

Working with crystals doesn’t require complex rituals. Its simplicity is comparable to prayer. It’s about connection, intention, and reverence—just as those stones in scripture carried meaning, so can the ones in your hand today.

📿 Crystals in Prayer & Practice

Crystals aren’t only for display—they’ve been woven into spiritual practices for centuries. Mala beads in Hindu and Buddhist traditions are made of gemstones and used in prayer or meditation, much like the rosary in Christianity. In Islam, prayer beads (misbaha) often include natural stones as well. Across cultures, crystals are held, worn, or counted to anchor focus, devotion, and intention.

When you hold a crystal or string beads through your fingers, you’re engaging in the same timeless practice—using creation itself as a bridge to the divine. Whether you call it prayer, meditation, or intention-setting, these tools are reminders that faith, focus, and love can be felt in tangible forms.

📓 Journaling Prompts

  1. What chapter of my life am I ready to close with this New Moon Eclipse?

  2. What new seed of intention do I want to plant with this New Moon?

  3. Where in my life do I need more balance, and how can I create it?

  4. How can I invite more harmony into my relationships, even in disagreement?

  5. What would “new beginning” mean for me right now?

🌎 Collective Healing in a Divided Time

It’s no accident that this cosmic alignment arrives now. While our communities and nation feel divided, the God and Universe reminds us of balance. The Equinox doesn’t choose sides. The Eclipse doesn’t silence one voice to elevate another. They simply realign everything back to harmony.

If we can pause, reflect, and allow renewal, then perhaps we can find ways to bridge differences. Even small acts—listening, forgiving, planting seeds of kindness—create ripples.

Just as I am choosing to see this as a new beginning for myself, my healing, and my business, I invite you to do the same. Together, our small shifts become collective change.

🌒 Closing Reflection

This weekend is not just an astrological event—it’s a call.

A call to cleanse.

A call to balance.

A call to begin again.

Step into this New Moon Eclipse Equinox portal with open hands, trusting that new beginnings are not only possible—they are here.
